Aafreen, is a Senior year student of Psychology at Georgia State University’s Honors College, Atlanta, USA, invited to study at GSU on 100% Scholarship.
Aafreen has been a straight A student, been in the Presidents list 4 times in a row from her University, got selected into the Honors’ college and currently is one among the only 10 students of the Honors’ college to be a part of the university’s LEAD with Honors Program.
Along with her studies she also holds the position of the Digital Literacy Ambassador at the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at GSU, she also serves as the Public Relations Officer at GSU’s Honors Student Organization and also has been selected to be a part of the college Admissions Committee.
In October 2019, Aafreen was sponsored by the DLL to represent the organization to present as a Speaker at one of America’s largest National Conferences, EDUCAUSE, held at Chicago. A first ever opportunity for any student at GSU.
She is a staunch believer in the immense potential of today’s youth. In spite of abundance of opportunities, very few are able to tap the optimum level due to lack of clarity and a clear path.
Her initiative for the advocacy for relevant Skills for youth at the right age & her activism in the last few years to incorporate Leadership & Life Skills education as part of the mainstream education in schools & colleges, led her to be designated as the Global Youth Ambassador with Skills for Life Foundation.
